A customer is wanting to upgrade the compatibility level for their PME databases within SQL Management Studio and wants to know if this will cause issues.

Cause
Customer would like to know if their PME databases compatibility level can be upgraded.
Resolution
With version 8.2, all PME databases are currently developed and tested using the "SQL Server 2008 (100)" compatibility level, as shown below. Although newer versions of SQL server are supported with PME it is not recommended to upgrade beyond this.
