OCP Procurement team leader

New offers are essential to support SE growth, sustainability ambitions, and profitability. By working closely with project teams, Procurement contributes to the Offer Creation Process (OCP) through value propositions (Innovations, Partnerships, etc.) and process excellence (supplier selection, risk management, value analysis, etc.).
The OCP Procurement Team Leader will be part of Power Home & Distribution (PHD) Procurement team encompassing several business divisions.
Mission
The OCP Procurement Team Leader will be responsible for managing projects for PHD in India, with the direct management of Project Buyers in Bangalore (8-10 persons).
As a Procurement manager, his/her objectives will be to:
▪ deliver high Procurement performance in new projects (strategic suppliers awarding, supplier risk management, value analysis, etc.)
▪ demonstrate Procurement value proposition through Innovations and Partnerships with suppliers
▪ influence project teams for sustainable options in Design and Supply Chain
▪ connect with business stakeholders to understand market trends and project roadmap, then anticipate Procurement-related actions
▪ drive productivity through Quality & Value Engineering (QVE) and Change of Suppliers (CoS)
▪ conduct market intelligence with suppliers (new technologies, upcoming trends, etc.)
▪ manage technological and sourcing risks, in coordination with Regional Procurement
▪ connect regularly with Category Procurement through interlocking to align on Procurement strategy
As a team manager, his/her responsibilities include:
▪ building a strong and diverse team
▪ ensuring the right sizing of the team according to project requests
▪ managing team base costs
▪ being an inclusive leader and acting as role model
▪ supporting evolution and transformation of Project Buyer role and OCP Procurement function (Agile transformation)

▪ Procurement excellence in projects (Partnerships, Innovation, Competitiveness, Green Materials, etc.)
▪ QVE and CoS performance

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills
▪ Procurement background with experience in buying components (electronic, plastic and metal parts)
▪ Supply chain and manufacturing processes knowledge
▪ Project management and cross-functional skills
▪ Business-oriented mindset
▪ Strong negotiation skills
▪ Ability to influence & convince and deal with conflicting objectives
▪ Effective communication (written and oral)
▪ High collaboration spirit and networking
▪ Cross-cultural awareness
▪ Fluent in Indian language(s) and English
▪ Autonomous, self-driven
▪ Previous people management experience is a plus
▪ International experience is a plus
