Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, appoints Dr. Bin Lu as new executive vice president of its Power Products division, effective January 26.
Bin Lu has an extensive background in power conversion and renewable energy. Following a BS from Tsinghua University and PhD from Georgia Tech, he has gained over 20 years of professional experience across the U.S. and China, with eight years at Schneider Electric. His career includes leadership roles in strategy, innovation, technology, product management, engineering, operations, and business management. Dr. Lu has also authored over 50 publications, 18 patents, and serves on various industry and university advisory boards.
He succeeds Rohan Kelkar, who led Power Products at Schneider Electric for six years, in both the North America and global division.
