ATV61(60°C with de-rating) with passive filter combination, Can we use passive filter for 60°C? or suggest the alternate solution for 60°C ambient?

As per the information provided in datasheet and catalog, the passive filter is designed for 40°C without derating and the same can be used up to 40 - 55°C with derating. Hence it is not allowed to use passive filter for harmonic solution above 55°C ambient temperature. The specific information is highlighted in below pitcure attached.

If it is necessary to use a harmonic filter for ambient temperature above 55°C, it is recommended to use Active Front End drive Active Harmonic filter at PCC level, which are allowed to use up to 60°C ambient temperature with derating. The Active Front End drive or Active harmonic filter, which will allow the usage up to 60 degree C also ensure the harmoince level (THDi) is less than 5%.

There is no seperate derating factor to be considered for the AFE (Active Front End), but due to the required derating of the ATV61 drive the allocated AFE is automatically derated.
