Can Control Expert (formerly Unity Pro) open an 884A PLC program ?

No. Control Expert (formerly Unity Pro) cannot open or convert an 884A PLC program. The 800 series IO can migrate to a Control Expert (Unity) application
but the program cannot because it uses a unique instruction set. An 884A program would have to be re-written.
