Why do I get "not" error on Lexium 32 after replacing the motor ?

Published date: 15 November 2018

Lexium 32 drives read the motor data via the encoder cable and save the motor type information in the drive parameters.
If the motor is replaced with a different model motor or a motor of the same type which has different firmware level then the original motor  "not" will be seen on the display of the Lexium 32 drive.

This message is to alert the user that the motor has been changed.

The alert message can be temporarily bypassed or can be permanently resolved.

Follow the steps in the attached PDF file to acknowledge the message and clear the message to return the drive to the ready state.
