What is an SCF4 fault on ATV320 drive?

Cause:
Shorted IGBT or motor issue

Resolution:
SCF4  [IGBT short circuit] indicates that there may be a power component failure.
If the drive still faults on SCF4 with the motor disconnected and Output Phase Loss set to NO (CONF->FULL-> FLT-, OPL); contact the Drive Products Support Group at 888-778-2733, option 2 for Technical Support and then option 4 for AC drives and soft starts.   

The following can also be done to test the drive by itself.

CONF, FULL, FLt (Fault menu) OPL (Output phase loss)= NO. 
By setting above parameter, you can check drive without physical connection of motor. 
Drive will follow frequency reference and control (Start/ Stop) command and will not trip on “Output phase loss”.
