Cause
In large systems with a lot of trend tags configured, it takes a long time for trend server to get to 'running' state. In cases were the project is being tested, it is not always necessary for the trends to run.

Resolution

Syntax:
[Trend]Disable

Allowable Values: 
0 - (Enable) 
1 - (Disable) Default

As an example to disable the trend server, the following parameter can be added to the INI file:
[Trend]Disable = 1

The INI file is located in the following folder and can be edited with Notepad:

C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\PowerSCADA Expert\v8.x\Config
C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\PowerSCADA Operations\v9.0\Config

Alternatively the above parameter can be added using Computer Setup Editor.
