PM5000 Digital Output Behaviour Modes

User would like to know the differences between the Digital Output Behaviour Modes "Normal", "Timed", and "Trip Coil"

Resolution
Descriptions of the three (3) digital output behaviour modes are below.

Normal:
  • Digital output will turn ON when the specified external or alarm condition is met as defined in Control Mode
  • The digital output remains ON only while the alarm is active
Timed:
  • Digital output will turn ON when the specified external, demand sync, alarm, or energy condition is met as defined in Control Mode
  • The digital output remains ON for the time period (in seconds) defined in the "On Time" setup parameter
