As the vice president, Marketing and Communications for the Anglophone Africa Cluster, Lebohang Thokoane brings over 20 years of skills and knowledge to Schneider Electric. Her career has developed, grown and matured from a personal mission to simplify the relationship that exists between a brand and its various stakeholders. As such her curiosity about how she can enable any organisation, through her role as a marketer, resulted in her occupying and gleaning insights from various positions spanning marketing, sales, bid team support and business and market development.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric in July 2016, Lebohang worked for most of the SA ICT landscape leaders - IBM, MTN, Business Connexion, Dimension Data, Internet Solutions, Neotel and was recently at T-Systems South Africa as the Head of Marketing and Communications.
In her current role as the VP of Marketing and Communications, Lebohang will tap into this richer perspective to ensure the relevance of marketing and communications to the business strategy and objectives of Schneider Electric. Her results oriented approach will allow her to assist the organisation illuminate its brand position in the cluster, thereby increasing client engagement and satisfaction. Her process orientation will ensure that marketing and sales are aligned to serve the customer while her people-orientation will enable her to empower her team as well as all the brand ambassadors in Schneider Electric.
Lebohang holds a Diploma in General Management and Administration, a National Diploma in Marketing, Post-Graduate Diplomas in Management as well as in Management Practices and is currently enrolled for an MBA with Henley Business School.
