Management Advanced Programme (MAP) and New Managers Programme (NMP)

Schneider Electric conducted a Management Advanced Programme (MAP), NQF 8 and a New Managers Programme (NMP), NQF 7, which was tailored specifically for Middle and Senior Management within the organisation. This intervention was designed to transform the thinking patterns of the participating employees and to create an innovative, culturally intelligent workforce who would thrive through the use of strategic thinking and cutting edge leadership skills.

Schneider Electric partnered with Wits Business School to roll out this customised intervention to address the leadership skills needs of the organisation.

The overarching outcome is to build transformative adaptive capabilities that when practiced and implemented support further organisational core competencies thereby providing Schneider Electric with competitive and adaptive advantage in the marketplace.

MAP Graduates were:
Ahmed Ashruf, Avin Ramjeeth, Barend (Benno) Lubbe, Brighton Mwarehwa, George Senzere, Gloria Setshedi, Mark Jenniker, Nirvana Sivalingam and Zakiyyah Imam.

Jeanette Minnaar will graduate in 2018 after she completes an outstanding module.

Learnerships for the Disabled
A learnership is a vocational education and training programme to facilitate the linkage between structured learning and work experience in order to obtain a registered qualification.

It combines theory and workplace practice into a qualification that is registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). A learnership usually constitutes 120 credits or 1200 "notional" hours of learning.

Schneider Electric partnered with Bytes People Solutions

The purpose of the End User Computing NQF 3 qualification is to empower disabled learners to acquire knowledge, skills, attitudes and values required to operate confidently in a business environment.

End User Computing NQF 3 Learnership, graduates were:
Nondumiso Gugu Mhlanga, Tabiso Tafeni, Nandi Mabena, Mamello Wendy Tsoeu, Brian Masina and Zamokuhle Zamashenge Mazibuko.

Business Administration NQF 3 Learnership, graduates were: (they will only receive their certificates in 2018.)
Lesedi Tiroeng, Tebogo Frans Sereko, Portia Lauren Munisami, Terane King Mabuyangwe, Yamkela Dlisani, Gcina Nyawose, Matiti Thete, Tsholofelo Jonas.
