This KB applies to ION Enterprise 6.0 and up on Windows Server 2008 (x64) with SQL 2005 (x64).
Running the RSConfigurationWizard tool will throw an error:

Error Setting Web Service Identity

At this point, the setup will not complete and will quit.

Causes and Fixes

1. Browse to the Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Instance folder:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.2\Reporting Services\ReportServer
(this path may very depending on your installation)

2. Manually edit rsreportserver.config:
Right Click on the file and Open With notepad.exe

3. Use Ctrl + F to find the WebServiceAccount tag.

4. Check if the Web Service Account tag is empty:
<WebServiceAccount></WebServiceAccount>

<WebServiceAccount>NT Authority\NetworkService</WebServiceAccount>

6. Restart Reporting Services service
