In a 3 phase system , when using the vigi module for earth leakage protection , the natural unbalance existing in the system will cause the tripping of the vigi module ?
The vigi module measure the vectorial sum of currents in the 3 phases + neutral , so any unbalance in the 3 phases in currents will circulate in the neutral wire and the vectorial sum will be zero , so the vigi module will not trip in case of the unbalance in load , it will trip only for earth leakage
