Momentum I/O Base Ground Stud.

Issue
The purpose of this resolution is to inform Momentum I/O Base users of a potential ground stud issue affecting the product.  During assembly, the screw which is used to secure a ground wire lug, was tightened beyond manufacturing specifications.

Resolution
On rare occasions, the solder connection of the I/O Base ground stud may break when loosening or tightening the ground stud screw.

Modules affected:

• All I/O Base model numbers.
• This issue may occur on I/O Base modules built before Aug. 2004 with a serial number of 210431xxxxx or less.
  Modules not affected:
  • Modules with a serial number of 210431xxxxx and less with an 8-2004 label on the back of the modules have been inspected and are ok.
  • Modules with a serial number greater than 210431xxxxx are ok.
