With the new available upgrades, existing TAC I/NET access control customers can be easily migrated to EcoStruxure Security Expert. By transitioning, they are migrating their existing access control systems to an IT-friendly, integrated access control solution.
Database Transition:
EcoStruxure Security Expert provides native connectivity to TAC I/NET access control
systems. The existing I/NET system databases can be easily synchronized using the Security
Expert data synchronization service, SX-DB-SYNC, saving hours of extensive engineering time by avoiding the
need for staff to re-program their current systems. The INet Database Transition Tool retrieves data such as DCUs, doors and individuals from an INet database.
Transition a controller level:
The TAC I/Net door and IO modules are natively supported in the Security Expert controller, SP-C. The SP-C replaces Xenta527 and iSite subLAN controllers 7798C in I/NET access control transitions, while maintaining full system level functionality over existing installed bus topology. We recommend using NetSys NV202 VDSL2 LAN extenders to extend Ethernet over existing RS485 wiring, if required, in the transition architecture.
TAC I/NET Modules supported:
• DPU7910
• DPU7920
• SCU1200
• SCU1280
• SCU1284
