Install CE15.1 returns message newer version of OS is required.

CE15.1 installs 3 new ISS Setup Prerequisites (See screen capture below). Each prerequisite install requires a reboot. These prerequisite installations could also require an update of some Microsoft components depending on what Windows 10 hot fixes are installed. This would require an Ethernet connection to the Internet. If the reboot step is skipped during the prerequisite install, the CE15.1 installation could fail or have issues. Afterwards, the core CE15.1 installation also requires a reboot. If reboot is skipped, the installation will be incomplete.

It is recommend;

• Checking to see if Windows 10 is up to date on all Microsoft hot fixes.
• Retest.

As a test to see where the installation failure occurred, try installing each prerequisite first.

The files are located in the following folder named 'ISSetuPresrequisites' in the Control Expert 15.1 installation iso file.
