Why can't I connect to my Advantys STB NIM using address 1 if my Modbus Plus rotary switches are set to address 1 ?

When using the Modbus Plus Network Interface Module (NIM), the only method to connect on-line is with the Advantys configuration software via the Modbus Configuration port and not through the Modbus Plus port. The Modbus Plus NIM will not bridge over to the Modbus Plus address, like some PLC's. The default address for the Modbus Configuration port is address 1. This address can be changed when connected on-line by selecting "Configuration Port Settings" under the On-line menu.
