PlantStruxure PES [V4.0]: PES does not start after installation

After installation, PES system Server does not start (StruxureWare Process Expert – System server windows is not opening).

Facts and Changes

During PES installation the Microsoft .NET framework 4.5.1 was not updated or installed from PES installer due to internal windows reason (this warned in a windows during PES installation).


Causes and Fixes

Reinstall PES and repair or install / update your Microsoft .NET framework to version 4.5.1 minimum from the Microsoft website.
