Users need to know the available digital output modes and their applications for alarms, energy pulses, and external control.
Resolution:
The PM3255 power meter has two solid-state relay outputs (DO1 and DO2). These outputs support four operation modes:

Alarm:
- Output is controlled by the meter in response to an alarm condition.
- Relay closes (ON) when at least one alarm is active and opens (OFF) when the alarm is cleared.

Energy Output:
- DO1 can be configured for active energy pulse output.
- DO2 can be configured for reactive energy pulse output.
- Pulse frequency (pulse/kWh or pulse/kVARh) and pulse width are configurable.

Disable:
- Digital output function is disabled.

External:
- Output is controlled by the meter in response to command 21000.
