Can I use a standard 0-10Vdc input on a bipolar (+10)/(-10Vdc) input?
Issue:
Using a standard 0-10Vdc input on a bipolar input
Product Line:
ATV31, ATV312, ATV61, ATV71,
Environment:
All series
Cause:
At 5Vdc the drive ramps to full speed.
Resolution:
Must use a bipolar signal to get the proper scaling and reference.
Bipolar analog input 0 ± 10 V (max. safe voltage ± 30 V)
The + or - polarity of the voltage on AI2 affects the direction of the setpoint
and therefore the direction of operation.
