How to disable automatic display scrolling on an ION7550/ION7650 meter

Issue
How to stop the front panel display of an ION7550/ION7650 from automatically cycling or scrolling through the available displays.

Resolution

1. Connect to the meter in ION Setup, then select View > Setup Screens so Setup Assistant appears in the right pane
2. Open Advanced Setup by holding the CTRL key and left-clicking on the meter in the left pane



3. Double-click the Scroll Modules folder in the right pane
4. Double-click the Auto Scroll module
5. Type in the meter front panel password, if prompted - default password is "0"
6. Under the Inputs tab, select Enable and click Edit



7. Click to expand AND/OR Modules > ScrollNormalMde > ScrollNormalMde



8. Select ScrollNormalMde then click OK
9. Click Send to save changes to the meter
