Ecostruxure Process Expert [2020R2]:How to use "Exec" Function in supervision participant of EPE

This document explains the parameters or settings to be set in Supervision participant to enable the "EXEC" function.

Citect Scada 2018 Supervision participant in Ecostruxure Process Expert 2020 introduced Additional security features, now requires user permission to call the Exec() function.

The user needs to perform the following steps to enable to "EXEC" Function.

1. Open refinement of Supervision Project and Set the Allow Exec field to TRUE for permitted users under Roles in Security.



2. Add the following parameter in the Citect.ini file

[Security]

BlockExec = 0
