Which online tool can I use to check cascading?

For low-voltage protection selectivity (discrimination) checks, Schneider Electric's recommended online tool is EcoStruxure Power Design - former Electrical Calculation Tools (ECT)
It allows you to:

  • Check selectivity between circuit breakers and fuses.
  • Verify cascading (backup protection).
  • Select protection devices.
  • Perform cable sizing calculations.
