The earth leakage rectangular sensor, with reference LV833573SP, is not directional.

Be sure to respect the installation rules as shown in the manual. See attachement.

It does not matter on the direction.

The toroid works on the vectoral sum principle and counts with all conductor included in the toroid and all directions of the currents inside.

You should set the Idn protection to the absolute value, so it works independently of the power flow direction.
