The Compact NS circuit breakers cannot be fully automatically reset after a trip.
After an electrical fault it is necessary to go in front of the breaker and reset it by:
- resetting the trip unit and
- pressing the "Reset" button that pops out after a trip, similar to Masterpact.
On Compact NS electrical version with motor, there is no reset concept after an opening of the breaker by MX or MN coil, as you can find on NSX range.
There are two situations: tripping by MX / MN coil and tripping due to electrical fault.
1. MX / MN - To close the breaker by the BPF closing order push-button (terminal A2), you have first to un-supply the MX or to supply the MN. No other reset operation is needed, the breaker can be reclosed.
2. Electrical fault - The reset is necessary only when the breaker trips on an electrical fault detected by the micrologic. The red push button located at the front cover must manually be reset by the user. It cannot be done electrically on Compact NS630b-1600.
