The multimedia function in EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert only supports audio; there is no built-in feature for direct camera integration.

These applications depend entirely on the camera’s capabilities.

If the camera supports a web server, you can use the Webpage widget (recommended instead of the obsolete ActiveX webpage) to display the camera’s web interface, for more information regarding this widget check FAQ000268760.

If the camera supports an open streaming protocol, integration is possible through a custom widget, using a syntax such as: protocol://mycamera:streaming_port

Some cameras provide ActiveX controls or VLC-based streaming options.

Therefore, you must verify your camera’s capabilities to determine the available integration method.

There is no generic solution for these applications, as each camera has different features.
