What is the complete procedure for programming the CCT15245 according to Astro schedules in order to control lighting at nightfall, as well as a night-time interruption?

Here is the complete, clear, and operational procedure for programming a CCT15245 in order to:

  • Automatically switch on the lighting at sunset (ASTRO mode)
  • Switch off the lighting during the night (Night Interruption)
  • Automatically switch it back on in the morning according to the Astro sunrise time

All steps below are based on the ASTRO and PROGRAM sections of the manual.

🌙 1. Basic configuration of ASTRO mode
The ASTRO mode automatically calculates switching ON/OFF times according to sunset and sunrise.

For it to work correctly, the location must be configured.

Step 1 — Go to:
MENU → ASTRO → POSITION

Select COUNTRY then the nearest city
OR
Select COORDINATES and enter Latitude, Longitude, Time zone. See link:

💡 2. Choose the Astro behavior
The CCT15245 allows two strategies:

  • EVENING ON / MORNING OFF = ON at sunset, OFF at sunrise
  • EVENING OFF / MORNING ON = opposite behavior

For a shop‑front outdoor lighting:

👉 Select: EVENING ON – MORNING OFF

Step 2 — Go to:
MENU → ASTRO → ASTRO MODE → EVENING ON / MORNING OFF

🕘 3. Add a night interruption
The night interruption is programmed in the PROGRAM MENU, even if you use Astro.

It allows the lighting to be switched off at a fixed time during the night, for example:

23:00 → 06:00

This function is described on page 8, where the manual explicitly explains that for a shop window, a NIGHT INTERRUPTION should be set.

🔧 Complete procedure to set the night interruption
Step 3 — Go to:
MENU → PROGRAM → STANDARD → CREATE

(or CREATE directly if it is the 1‑channel model)

  • Confirm free memory space
  • Select: NIGHT INTERRUPTION
  • Set the start time → e.g. 23:00
  • Set the minutes
  • Choose the day(s) (Monday–Sunday)
  • Set “UNTIL TIME” → e.g. 06:00
  • Validate with SAVE (or COPY then SAVE for multiple days)

🌓 4. Interaction between ASTRO and NIGHT INTERRUPTION

With this configuration:

  • The CCT15245 switches the lighting ON automatically at sunset (Astro)
  • At 23:00, PROGRAM applies the NIGHT INTERRUPTION → OFF
  • At 06:00, the interruption ends → lighting returns to Astro mode
  • In the morning, it will switch off automatically at sunrise

Result:

✔ Automatic switching ON at sunset
✔ Switching OFF during the night
✔ Astro functioning resumes after the interruption
