How to install and activate free Schneider Electric software as SoMove, Machine Expert Basic (SoMachine Basic) , Zeliosoft

Users no longer need to register or claim a unique activation ID for Schneider Electric free software such as SoMove, Machine Expert Basic (SoMachine Basic), Zeliosoft.

Instead, you can download a binary license file and install it with your software.

Step 1: Open Schneider Electric License Manager
You can download the latest version via following link.
Install this tool to get automatic notifications of software updates.

Step 2: Go to the free license download page on mySchneider

or
2. manual path: Log in with your mySchneider user account.
If you don’t have an account, you can create one on the sign‑in page.
Go to the document downloadcenter tile and search for "License file to activate your software "

Step 3: Download the required license file zip for the software.

Step 4: Unzip and place the license file on your computer
1. Unzip the downloaded file
2. place the  “.lic” file in the following folder: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Schneider Electric Shared\LicenseFiles".

When you restart the software, the license will be automatically activated, allowing you to continue using the software.

Step 5: Go to the software management tile in mySchneider for an overview of your registered Schneider Electric software
