During the pandemic, Schneider Electric mobilised our global response to support our customers’ and partners’ operations. Now, we are in the “new normal” environment.
The world has changed dramatically since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic with constrained labour availability, global shortages of raw materials, and unreliable transportation — all of which have challenged suppliers and put pressure on global and regional supply chains.
Due to market dynamics, global supply chain constraints will remain for the majority of 2022, particularly in electronic components such as semiconductors.
As we strive to meet order demand we are:
• Qualifying alternate components by working closely with our suppliers and R&D organisation to support increased demand and improve continuity of supply.
• Reviewing supplier tooling to add machine capacity to support growth, maintain buffer capacity, and provide critical redundancy.
• Monitoring global transportation reliability, labour availability, and overall market dynamics and adjusting lead times as necessary, striving to keep these lead times as short as possible.
At Schneider, our teams are empowered to do their best to support you and wherever we operate, we continue to adapt to change. We are focused on supporting your operations and business continuity through digital resiliency, cyber secure tools and infrastructure, 24/7 customer and technical support and remote management capabilities.
We thank you again for your support and collaboration. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us here, or reach out directly to your Schneider Electric representative.
