It is required to understand the minimum possible polling interval for PM5000 meter.
Environment
PM5000 meters with Modbus protocol communication over serial or ethernet.
Resolution
Schneider Electric does not claim any minimum polling interval for this kind of communication. This mainly depends on various scenarios. The meter updates the data at an interval of 1 Sec. So a polling interval below 1 Sec gives the same data making it less useful. There also may be some other networking limitations which may cause some significant delay as well. So, it is recommended to have a minimum polling interval of 5 Sec for better communication performance.
