Is the embedded NMC capable of reading or detecting the AP9613 dry contact when inserted into the Smart slot of the UPS?

Issue: Clarification about the accessory board (AP9613) and the embedded NMC

Product line: All Smart UPS with Embedded NMC and available Smart slot

Answer:
No! The embedded NMC cannot detect or read the dry contact AP9613.

An embedded NMC as well as the removable/preinstalled NMC can only detect a dry contact which is directly connected to its I/O  port.
