Issue:
What are the minimum load requirements for the ACRP DX?
Product line:
ACRP
Environment:
InRow Cooling
Cause:
Resolution:
The InRow RP continually adjusts its cooling output to accommodate varying loads. The cooling output is determined by the difference between the supply air temperature setpoint and the actual supply air temperature as well as the airflow (for each of the cooling units in the cooling group if more than one cooling unit is present).
Fully loaded, the nominal cooling capacity of the equipment is 29 kW. At its lowest speed, the equipment cooling capacity is approximately 10 kW but is is recommended to have at least 13 to 15 KW of load per unit. Great consideration should be given to the loaded and unloaded state of the compressor to ensure that the operational range stays within these limits.
