PowerChute fails to trigger shutdown for Runtime remaining below threshold event with Galaxy VS/VL/VXL
Issue:
PowerChute Network Shutdown fails to trigger shutdown for Runtime remaining below threshold event when configured with Galaxy VS/VL/VXL.

Products:
PowerChute Network Shutdown
AP9644

Environment:
PowerChute Network Shutdown configured with Galaxy VS/VL/VXL.

Cause:
Firmware

Solution:
Currently, configuring the UPS low battery threshold is the only option to trigger a shutdown when the UPS falls below X available runtime.

In Galaxy VS/VL/VXL with AP9644, the low battery thresholds can be set via Tuner.

After connecting the tuner, navigate to Settings > Battery > Discharge tab. Here, we can set the Battery Runtime Low Warning Threshold, which defines when the Battery Low Warning alarm should appear. It is raised based on the calculated runtime (in minutes) left on the UPS.
Range: 1 - 100 min. ( 0 = means function OFF)
Default value: 4 min.
