Environment
AP9622 installations requiring RS-232 to RS-485 converter to work with various Building Management Systems
Cause
The AP9622 card supports RS-232 Modbus/JBUS output. Users may require RS-485 adapters to work with an existing Building Management System. Refer to compatibility list below.
Resolution
The Building Management Integration Card (AP9622) will work with the following RS-232 to RS-485 converters:
- B&B Electronics P/N: 485OT9L*
*Item is currently discontinued per B&B. The recommended replacement is 4WSD9OTB but it has not been tested with the AP9622.
- B&B Electronics P/N: 485LP9TB
