Cause / Overview:
Some applications require that a Symmetra RM UPS not be mounted in a rack. This article details the options that are currently available to the customer.
Resolution:
There is an optional floor mount kit available for the Symmetra RM UPS, SYOPT1. This can be used to install the UPS chassis in a tower configuration and is the only approved method to do so. More information can be found at the following links:

Please Note: The SYOPT2, SYOPT10, and SYOPT11 that are mentioned in the guide have been DISCONTINUED and are no longer available. The SYOPT1 is the only piece of the floor mount kit currently available.
