Yes, it is possible to establish communication between SoMachine platform PLC and Vijeo designer simulator
by using Modbus TCP/IP protocol.Set IP address, subnet Mask of target machine same as that of PC (Editor) on
which SoMachine and Vijeo Designer are running.

With vijeo designer, add Modbus TCP/IP driver to I/O manager and add Modbus TCP equipment under it. Set IP
address of PLC to the field “Equipment I/P address”.Run vijeo designer simulator on Local-PC and connect same
local-PC with SoMachine (running on it) to the SoMachine platform controller (M218, M238, M258 and LMC058 etc.).

It is beneficial to test communication even without physical HMI controller.
