The connection key of Proface HMI can be reset by initializing internal memory of the HMI in offline mode.
Below is the procedure to initialize internal memory:
- Enter offline mode and touch [Initialization Menu] in the item change over buttons.
- [Initialization Menu] screen opens. Touch [Initialize User Memory].
- From the [Initialize User Memory] screen, touch the input field and type "1101" (when the [System Password] is [Disable]) or type the defined system password.
- Touch [Start].
- [Is that really alright] confirmation message appears. Touch [Yes].
- When a message appears indicating initialization is complete, touch [Close].
This procedure will reset/delete the old connection key of the HMI.
