Issue:
Why there is not a single mark to choose the value for the current?
Product Line:
GV Manual Starters
Environment:
GV3P IEC manual motor starters.
Cause:
There are two arrows in New GV3P which help users to adjust the thermal setting if there is a contactor directly (everlink) connected to GV3P.
Resolution:
The reason comes from GV3P thermal compensation. Everlink connection increases heat density between GV3P and contactor comparing to connection using wires. Heat from contactor poles increases GV3P ambient temperature, so thermal setting on GV3P then has to be set to higher value (In aligned to white arrow).
If GV3P is not connected to LC1D using everlink, keep the thermal setting In aligned to black arrow (new GV3P).
If GV3P is connected to LC1D using everlink, keep the thermal setting In aligned with white arrow.
