Resolving Trend Scale Duplication in Geo SCADA Trend Template

Users may encounter confusion when configuring trend scales within Geo SCADA group templates, resulting in instances displaying two Y-axes with differing scales. This typically occurs when trend scale settings are inherited, leading to an extraneous Y-axis on the left side of the trend chart that is not associated with any data points.

To streamline trend displays and prevent misinterpretations in instances, the following procedure is recommended:

  1. Access the Group Template: Open the relevant group template within Geo SCADA.
  2. Delete the Redundant Y-Axis: Remove the Y-axis located on the left side of the trend chart.
  3. Reposition the Remaining Y-Axis: Move the remaining Y-axis (originally on the right) to the left side of the chart.

This action will ensure that instances inheriting the trend scale from the group template display a single, consistent Y-axis, eliminating potential confusion.
