4 HOW TO CONVERT THE XBT-P APPLICATION TO XBT-PM ?

2 possibilities must be assessed:

1. XBT-P has no printer port
In that case, the XBT-P can be substituted either by a XBT-PM027010 or by a XBT-PM027110.

This is the procedure to follow:
a. Convert the XBT-P application to one of the following PRODUCTS:
- XBT-E013010
- XBT-E014010
- XBT-E015010
- XBT-E016010
- XBT-E013110
- XBT-E014110
- XBT-E015110
- XBT-E016110


b. Transfer the XBT-E application to the XBT-PM027010 or to the XBT-PM027110.


2. XBT-P has printer port
In that case, the XBT-P is substituted by a XBT-PM027110

This is the procedure to follow:
a. Convert the XBT-P application to one of the following PRODUCTS:
- XBT-E013110
- XBT-E014110
- XBT-E015110
- XBT-E016110

b. Transfer the XBT-E application to the XBT-PM027110.




Plus:
The scrolling is possible on XBT-PM hardware using a XBT-E application.
All the static function keys are converted (12 function keys maximum on XBT-P and on XBT-PM)
All alarm, application and form pages are converted.
All the functions of the dialogue table are converted.

Minus:
As the application is in fact a XBT-E application, no graphical objects (bar graphs, gage variable field) and no background picture can be added on the XBT-PM display.
No dynamic function keys are available also in these conditions.
But these features were not possible on XTB-P.
