Issue:

Customer would like to know how to deactivate nodes or suppress “Communication Error” alerts for devices that are known to be deactivated or have known issues.

Cause:

Environment:

Vista showing "Communication error" in Vista

Resolution:

Log into ION Enterprise Vista and click on "Options". Here is two options:

1.  User can "Uncheck" the "Alert on Comm errors for Disabled Devices" which will not give "Communication error" for deactivated devices.
2.  User can "Uncheck" the "Alert on Comm Errors" which will deactivate the "Communication error" for all devices.

Recommendation:
