How to edit Time Zone and Daylight Saving Time settings in Windows for ION Enterprise
Issue
Need to edit a time zone name or adjust the start and end dates for DST (daylight saving time) set in the operating system.

Resolution
The Time Zone\DST settings are in Registry under (may be different depending on the operating system):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Time Zones
For modifying the Keys, Windows Time Zone Editor can be used. This tool can be downloaded from https://www.southsoftware.com/tzedit.zip
Additional Notes:
- The DST start/end date in the meter should be the same as in the operating system.
- If for any reason the DST start/end dates in the operating system are changed, in ION Setup the DST start/end dates can be updated to have the same settings. This can be done with selecting Update all available daylight saving dates check box when editing Clock | Timezone:
