How can I troubleshoot an Altivar 58 with a blank display and will not power up?
Issue:
Troubleshooting a Altivar 58 with a blank display and will not power up.

Environment:
All of the ATV58
Cause:
DC bus is not charging, bad power board or MCB
Resolution:
- Check Mains voltage on L1 L2 L3,
- Check DC bus voltage ( if this drive has a DC choke check to make sure its connected to PA and PO).
- Check the +24vdc and +10vdc power supplies.
- Power cycled if needed and see if the display comes back up.
If no voltage on +24 or +10 then could be power board or control board issue. Unfortunately parts are obsolete so drive can be sent in for repair or unit can be replaced.
NOTE: ATV58 drives have been obsolete since 2007. No repair or replacement parts are available. Review the application and installation to determine an appropriate replacement from our current offer.
