Can EcoStruxure Web Services (EWS) client send control commands back to Power Monitoring Expert (PME) Server?
Issue:
While connecting to PME via an EWS client, customers might have concerns over what actions the EWS client can perform on the PME software and the meters connected to the software.

Cause:
There might be concern over the EWS client connecting to the PME server and performing control actions such as resetting various values on a meter.
Resolution:
The only action a client can take is to request data and acknowledge alarms. In order to have external software send control commands through EWS to PME we would need an EWS client implementation in PME, which we do not have. We only have an EWS server in PME.
