This is possible for up to 3,15MVA hermetically sealed corrugated wall distribution transformers. However, this will change for flat wall tank gas cushioned transformers with radiators. Depending on the design of the transformer, starting from 1,6MVA, the relevant transformers may have to be dismantled (radiators, cable boxes if there are any, terminal box, oil barrels, piping hardware, etc.) due to the dimensional constraints of the relevant containers. This will increase the delivery costs since you may have to switch to a high cost carrier equipment such as low bed truck for land delivery or flat rack container for overseas delivery.
