Why does Vijeo Designer report Error 2897 when I build the application?
Issue:
Somachine / Vijeo Designer reports Error 2897 when I build the application when I only have one device connected to COM1.
Product Line:
Vijeo Designer (all versions), SoMachine (all versions)
Resolution:
This build error occurs in Vijeo Designer when SoMachine has the "SoMachine_Network_Manager" added under COM1 of Somachine configuration.
To resolve this issue, delete the SoMachine_Network_Manager under COM1 in Somachine and the Vijeo Designer application will build properly.
