Altivar Machine ATV320 drives with compact control block (ATV320-C) are equipped as standard with:

• Integrated RJ-45 communication port for Modbus/CANopen
• The VW3A3600 mechanical adapter can be ordered separately for use with communication modules for additional protocols, see the list below.

Altivar Machine ATV320 drives with book control block (ATV320-B) have been designed to simplify connections to communication buses and networks by means of the following:

• Integrated RJ-45 communication port for Modbus/CANopen on the front
• Slot for an optional communication module

The following optional communication modules are available:

• Modbus TCP and EtherNet/IP (VW3A3616)
• PROFIBUS DP V1 (VW3A3607)
• DeviceNet (VW3A3609)
• EtherCAT (VW3A3601)
• POWERLINK (VW3A3619)
