Can we have DNP and Modbus TCP active on NOR module at the same time
Question:
Is it possible to have DNP and Modbus TCP/IP connection up at the same time on BMXNOR0200 module?
Answer:
One NOR could only select as DNP3 or IEC in terms of RTU communication.
However it also supports Modbus TCP communication at the same time.
But we don’t recommend Modbus TCP comm. Together with DNP3/IEC, as Modbus TCP comm.(high priority) especially with large data amounts might affect the performance with DNP3/IEC comm.
