How to revert language back to English for the Process drive Graphic Display Terminal?
Issue :
Adjust language of the drive.
Product Line :
Altivar Process Drive, ATV630, ATV930
Resolution :
The drive's default language is in English. Yet in some cases during programming, the language is changed. Below are the steps to revert the drive's language to English:
- Push the Home and Escape button at the same time to make sure the display is unlocked
- Push Home button, to get back to the Main Display
- Scroll down to the bottom the last parameter in the list. This should be Menu 8 - My Preferences
- Push the OK button (Menu 8.1 Language)
- Push the OK button a second time. This takes you into the language options
- English is at the top of the list
- Push the OK button on English to save the setting
These settings can be found in the ATV Process drive Programming Manual under Chapter 10, My Preferences.
