Why is my ATV320 drive flashing SMS > rdY?

ATV320 is flashing between SMS and rdY

Cause:
Safety function SMS
Resolution:
When the safety function SMS is configured, the normal drive state will alternate flashing between RDY and SMS. This only means that the SMS safety function has been configured in the drive and is active.
